So I noticed that there were 3 series on the 2.7t for 2000:

WAUED24
WAUED54
WAUED64

It looked a bit like the 64s were more expensive than the 24s... any reason or am I just seeing things?

Two 2.7ts, same dealer, similar mileage, just trying to figure out what the difference is on them (sight unseen).

I have been lurking in these forums for a while, so I think I know what I will be getting into.

That answered my question, much thanks. Appears the $1200 difference in the two cars I listed came from the 3000 miles, color, and options. Thanks.

 

So what did the difference turn out to be in the sixth digit.

 

Its just a blanks/doesn't mean anything. Apparently just happened to be coincidence that I was seeing a pattern.
