Mad Teutonic Geniuses: F to C and back
Last night I stopped for gas and realized, a few miles later, that my external temperature in the dash cluster now read in Centrigrade. After driving three hours, converting to Farenheit in my head, and randomly pushing buttons, it still read C. So, against my better judgement I pulled out the manual and discovered that pressing and holding the recirculation button (to the left of the AUTO temp button and over the ECON button) and then pressing the + on the driver's seat temperature control would toggle between F and C. Wow! Who would design something so un-intuitive? Anyway, this may be helpful to some Canadian owners who bought US cars.
