I know that too much K&N recharge oil can foul an MAF meter, requiring them to be replaced. But has anyone ever tried to somply clean it with solvent? Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks

 

Gotta spray with alcohol and let it dry by itself, dont rub - there are MAF cleaning kits out there i think ECS has them or someone
Install if it works ok, good , if not time for new MAF

Ussually u will need new one - ECS is has the cheap + World Impex Inc

And get rid of the K&N filter
