Motion alarm lockout button question
Just got a new to me '03 A6 4.2 to replace my '01 A6 2.8.
My '01 has a button on the pillar to turn off the motion sensor alarm. My 4.2 has only the trunk button located there. My owners manual shows the second button for the alarm. Anyone know why I have no motion sensor lockout on the '03? We sometimes leave a dog in the car and he sets off the alarm when he moves about.
