Default Mysterious problem

Hello,
I will try to explain my problem, before that i want to say that i have checked my car in three different auto services and no problem was found.

Well, when I turn left lets say 90 degrees I hear a strange sound coming from the back of the car. Its like "tuk tuk tuk.." And it also depends on a speed. What it could be?

Since you have not provided us with any information regarding your car, such as year, engine, transmission, etc., or whether the noise is louder at higher or lower speeds, I am going to guess that when you make a left turn the watermelon you left in your tunk rolls across the floor making the noise you are hearing.

If its a Quattro it could be the rear diff or rear CV joint. Mine makes this noise at close to full lock in the front.

The tuk, tuk, tuk suggests a repeating interference, which leads us to the wheels. The "when turning left" implies a problem on the right side (the loaded side). When turning implies the wheel bearing. It could be as simple as a little play, but you would think that at least one of three mechanics would have found that. I would take the right rear apart and look for signs of something hitting something else and I would replace the bearing just to be sure.

Good luck,

Bob

I don't agree with Kevin cause a watermellon would go thud thud not tuk tuk

But the brake backing plate might be too close to the rotor and it is hitting when things are flexed a bit

Im going to change rear brake pads in a few days and rear break pads are very slim, can it be a reason? Saying slim i want to say its really slim its time to change them.

I have little experience with rip mellons but am willing to learn- if you know someone that is willing to teach me I'm ready.

Brake pads might be rattling in the calipers but I was talking about the backing plate being too close to the rotors.
