I am a new owner of a 1996 Audi A6 Quattro wagon that only came with one valet key. I would like to get a Master key and fob but the dealer says neither is possible because of security concerns. Where else am I able to obtain a Master key and fob that are OEM and not aftermarket? Thank you in advance.

 

I had to order my 1997 key from Germany when I lost the last one. I've never been able to use the fob to unlock the doors, though I'm sure it's possible. Recently, when replacing the ignition switch, I had to take the new switch and the key to LockWorld and they programmed the ignition switch for me to match the key. Too bad I'd already installed it, had to take it out again because it was a no start, no crank and then I realized why. Good luck!
