New Audi owner with a few questions..
Here's your guide:
- Warm up: Don't let the engine rev over 3k until the oil temp is one notch up on the gauge (175 degrees)
- Cool down: Drive it easy the last few miles home (no need to let it idle in the driveway unless temp is over 200)
That's it. It's really not that hard or restrictive. Do this religiously and you'll be fine.

I read that your comments above regarding vibration have a similar issue. I have a 02 a6 2.7t and have problems with steering wheel vibration. I took it to a Firestone tire shop for rotation and balance and it still vibrates at 55-65 mph, but not all the time. I have less than 20k miles on the tires withmaybe 60-75% thread left on them. All four tires are evenly worn, so I don't think there is any alignment problems. Any suggestion is appreciated? And, BTW I took the car to the dealership before I went to Firestone and they did not notice thevibration. I just hate to go back for another $100 balance. I will tellyou later what happened at Firestone. Idiots...!
