New audi owner. Need help with 2 issues! Please!
I have a 2005 A6 w/ 80,000 miles and the 3.2
The first problem I'm having is a starting issue. I can turn the key and the car will try to start. However, the car doesn't start and you can hear something running under the hood. I don't know if its the starter turning over or what. Then I turn the key off and try to start the car a second time and it may do the same thing again or it may start. Usually it will always start the third time.
My second problem is the ignition. After driving for any distance when you put the car in park and turn the key off it wont come out of the ignition. Its strange and very intermitent. If you leave the key in the ignition and wait for 2 to 30 minutes something will click and the key is then released. Is there something I can do?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
AJ

I read in a VW manual, if the key wont release, push the button on the shifter, the one you use to change gears with, and it should click, then the key can be removed. Its worth a try, I cant tell you anything really on the first issue.
