alrite guy am new on the scene and in need of some help!! My 2002 Audi A6 2.5TDI Automatic, has a clutch plate problem!! which apparently needs upgrading from a 5 plate system to a 7!?!?!

Is this the best option??

also....Will the gearbox from a V-Reg A6 2.5TDI work with the system thats in place??? I have no idea of the gearbox setup thats in there at current, hence why advice is needed

This is a front wheel drive car? I think they are talking about the CVT transmission which does have an upgrade for the clutch pack assembly to a 7 plate clutch pack. If thats the case, you don't have much choice in the matter.
