No start please help!!!!!!!!!!
The OBDII terminal on a 1996 A6 is near the parking brake lever and has a small cover with an engine symbol. However, the 1995 may not be OBDII, unless you have the AFC engine and the OBDII terminal. If you car is pre OBDII, then you need an OBD/OBDII scanner which can scan older than 1996 and the necessary adapter for pre 1996 Audi. Your other option is to get VAG-COM and the pre OBDII Audi adapter from www.ross-tech.com. To get the Bentley CD try www.themotorbookstore.com or www.themotorbookguy.com , but be sure to get the CD for the 1995 thru 1997 A6. Also, the software must be installed on the hard drive and be activated by Bentley.
Do you have the 1995 AAH or the 1995 AFC engine? If you don't know, then what is your VIN number. The Bentley software can decode the VIN to get the engine data. If you had VAG-COM you could find outthe ecm part number. Did you find that OBDII terminal next to the parking brake handle? Without more information, I would not be able to guess which ignition module you might have.
No OBDII terminal. Not sure on the engine all I know is that its a 2.8 v6. How about the crank sensor? I was told by a local Audi tech that it was crank sensor. He didn't looko at it he just told me thats what he has seen go out on them.
