Wammy, no offence, but your posts always bring smile to my face.

Here are some definitions for you. An actual transbrake implies that you modded your transmission valve body and electronics where when a button is pressed, both reverse and 1st gears are engaged. It effectively locks the car in dead stop while allowing to rev the motor, as Auditech said.

Also in order for you to have a transbrake which allowing you to rev up to 4K rpm, you need a stall converter, set around 4000 rpm. To my knowledge, correct me if I am wrong, I haven't seen or heard of any stall converters for Audi 5hp19fl tiptronic tranny. If you know of someone who makes or mods one, please do share.

With that said, if you are really reving to 4k on dead stop, in gear, then something is very wrong with your transmission.

Do you drive the car everyday? From what you are describing this car is not streetable. 4k stall converter. C'mon!
