alright i have a 97' a6 and i just had a brake assembly redone. after i got it back it was ok. it rained a lot last night and now my car won't start? it makes a machine gun clicking noise very fast. i jumped it once and it ran fine. turned it off and it is doing it again. what's to blame, the mechanic or the rain?

 

alright well i am going to replace the battery. let everyone know how it goes later.

 

that's your starter making that noise...... IDK why that would have anything to do with the brakes ..... coincidence maybe? You got power if the starter's clicking .... not your batt. but you're going to drain it if you keep trying to start it .... it's not firing ...something get wet? Did dude fuvk with anything else?
