There are no codes 1196 or 1198 or any other codes reported.

My question is: What does all this tell me?? Interrelated??

Fuel filler cap remains open or fails to close

I put on new fuel cap and all codes went away. Still don't understand relationship between leaking fuel cap and P2096/P2098. Anyone care to explain????

Best regards

oops. Drive about 30 miles. Parked started and check engine light back - P0441 but no P2096 or P2098. Cleared again.

How to track this down? I read somewhere that the solution is to take to dealer and they will change everything for a few thousand bucks.
