Not trying to hijack this thread, but is there anything definitive about Mobil1 being reformulated. The jugs still say synthetic. I see other brands that are a mix. I'd like to see a quote or a URL that ties back to the manufacturer where they admit they've downgraded their product. If that's the case, maybe one of the other [so called]full synthetics is the better choice. They all cost about the same.
I'm very suspicious of these statements without verification. It smells like urban legend or rumor (or the dirty tricks department at Pennzoil).
