What is going on? After this happened I got an oil change and topped off the coolant. Still not going away. I have a CEL actually 4 of them:

P1606 Thats the ABS, I know about this one
P0160 Air/Fuel ratio concern- lean or rich
Probable cause, Open or short circuit concern, Faulty H02S
P1140 internal resistance too high -
Probably Cause Failed HO2S
P1122 - sensor heater circuit open bank 2 sensor 2 - BBOpen or short circuit condition
Probable Cause Failed H02S


Will a failed O2 sensor cause the car to over heat and coolant to be overheating and A/C to go out?

 

I doubt the O2 sensors could cause the overheating. A lean condition would increase combustion temps, but the cooling system should be able to keep up I would think. The A/C cutting out may be a failsafe to reduce the engine temp and prevent damage.

It sounds like a cooling system problem - these engines are fairly prone to stuck thermostats and I have heard of water pump impellers coming off the end of the shaft.
