Default PLEASE HELP OR ADVICE???!!!!

hey u guys umm im a new owner of a 99 audi a6 2.8 and i had trouble with the radio and cd player. so if anyone could leeme no why the speakers worl fine wiht the radio but only the right side of the car works with the cd player it would be so appreciated. thank u all for anyhting and everything

I believe you have the concert radio so I am not sure if this applies. On my symphony radio there are different base/treble/balance controls for the cd, cdc and radio. So maybe your radio is set correctly but your cd is set all to the left or right.

Just a thought.

Are all the speakers fine when you play the radio or does it happen there too?
As said above, have you tried multiple CD's?

no all the speakers work fine with the radio and no problems at all but when i put any cd in, the left side of the car does not play. ive checked and double checked all the settings. and yes it happens with any cd. thank u guys.

It sounds like you make have a connection issue with your cd changer. Try reseating (unplugging and plugging) the connection at both the radio and cd changer harness and see if that helps. Or just replace that tired stock radio and get one that actually sounds halfway decent. The Bose system isnt that bad when compared to other stock systems.
