Default RE: Power Steering Flush

I had a feeling stop leak would not be recommended. The pump was replaced 1 year ago but no mention of hoses.

I too have a 2003 A4 3.0 with a moaning pump. Has anyone else removed the restrictor as dankhound suggested above? Should I remove it completelyor just clean it and reinstall? I'm considering a magnefine filter to try to trap some of the debris in the system.

Default Power Steering Flush

My car in a 2006 A4 2.0T quattro. I took it in a month ago, due to sound when I turned. It cost me $1400 for new bushings at the Audi Dealer. Car was still making sound took it back in, and they think that the power stering needs to be flushed for $145.00. I read in this forum that Audi's don't need flushing. I told Audi not to perform the service, but do I need to have it done somewhere else or not at all?
