I have a a6 quatro, 30v, ~161k miles. oil light just started to come on, seems to be when it warms up and at low rpms. It needs a oil change for sure, I added a quart because it tends to leak out of the oil pan (need to get gasket). ALso, it misfires at startup (reasoning behind thin oil im thinking) and when it warms up it runs better, but still misfires. I replaced the coil. any help would be appreciated.

 

what I had in mind is to (all at once) replace the gasket, clean the oil pick up tube (or replace) perhaps oil pump (if possible from underneath? no clue) and then oil change. any pictures of the crank case?, oil pump and pickup?
