is there anything I need to look out for befoer I buy it ?

Thanks in advance

first of all, figure out what year it is because the 3.0 wasnt avaliable until 2002. Secondly, just the normal things that are covered on this forum all the time. Figure that the timing belt/water pump will need to be changed in a year or less and thats a $1000 service assuming it hasnt been done yet. Other than that, just look at it like a normal used car, make sure it hasnt been wrecked and no apparent leaks.

If the seller includes the Gin with it, I would stay away from it.

You would be better off avoiding the 3.0l engine. And the reference to a 1k timing belt job does not apply to the 3.0l engine. The timing belt job on the 3.0l is much much more expensive.

Drive it some more and make sure the transmission shifts well D is regular drive S is sport and the gate lets you shift like a standard. The Transmission would be the only huge pitfall. Other than that mine has 113K and I just put $1K in parts into it Runs smooth as silk. Be sure to change the Timing belt! Also the orange coil packs are Known to fail so I would order a new set or at least one and put it on the shelf so your ready.

Put it on a rack and pull the belly pan. check for leaks!!! Also look for overspray and collision repair!
