Okay everyone, I know this is going to sound ridiculous but does anyone know of a stronger adhesive or another way to place the rear view mirror on a 98' A6's windshield? Mine fell off during one of these hellacious hot summer days so I bought the regular rear view mirror adhesive kit at Autozone. However, the rear view mirror doesn't seem to have a button that comes off of the mirror so that you can stick it to the windshield separately from the mirror in order to let it dry. As a result, when i tried gluing the mirror back on, the weight was too much and it wouldn't hold.

Anyone got any better methods or ideas on how to do this?
