So remember my water problem in the cabin?
I finally resolved it it was the plastic bezel under the wipers.
The Florida sunshine had heated the bezel and distorted it and of course while it was distorted all sorts of tree crap decided to land in there and hold it open so that the rain water could slip in and run diagnaly and drip into my cabin air filter. Then work it's way through the duct and down onto the passenger floor.
I removed it a blew it out then cleaned the contact surface with acetone. That may have been enough for anyone up north, but fearing it would warp a gain I shot a bead of silicone on the lip and reinstalled it. Then I ran a small clean bead across the top where it meets the windshiels and wiped it down so you won't notice it. Cleans up well with a smidgen of Xylene. So far so good It's starting to smell nice again THANK GOD! because it was starting to smell like dirty socks. Nasty.
