So my '04 2.7t tip did started, and engine sounds strong. But wile my budy was test driving it he noticed that trany feels like its sleaping, well u know, u step on the gas, engine revs up a bit and then trany engages. he sad its not to bad, however decided to drop it off at audi to get it checked out. He thinks it could be computer out of calibration or something or could be trany saying godbye. Also car is a fixed flood vihicle, could that efect it also? What do u guys think?

 

the funny thing i didnt even seen the car yet but already found a shop to put it into. And if it is trany, can it be rebuild or i have to change the whole deamn thing? How much would that cost?

 

Maybe all you need is a good fluid and filter changed in the tranny and all will be well. The kits are inexpensive, except fo rthe fluid itself... but still cheaper than a new or rebuilt tranny. Right?

 

I would hope that thats it. After all it has only 43k miles on it......
