spark plug gap

Default spark plug gap

i got a set of plugs and i dont believe they are gapped properly...

its suppose to be .032 but the plugs i got are .040 do i just bend them back???

just tap the end till it gets to the desired width book says 0.8mm 32th

what plugs did you get?
have the same car, only use the NGK Lazer Platinums #PFR6Q
(these are the stock plugs and the best for unmodified car)
got the best price at Advance Auto 7.99
PepBoys can get them too.
some plugs, especialy platinums are pregaped and should not
be changed or they do not function properly

i have ngk in my 96 and there is no gap adjustment. there are multipul prongs on each plug, so no gap can be adjusted.
