Default Steering wheel differences

I am looking at either an 02-03 A6 2.7t. Basically this will be my daily driver, wanted something fast looks good nice interior and rides very nice.

For the Price the Audi came out on top for all that it offers (plus I am a German car fan, had several).

Anyway I see in alot of them there are 2 kinds of steering wheels.

One is four spoke that has the multifunction buttons on it, the other is 3 spoke.

I am assuming that the 3 spoke one is part of a sport package or something.

What packages decided whether you get the 3 or 4 spoke?

I would rather have the 4 spoke with the multi function because its more of daily driver not a sports car. Just curious what options lead to one over the other.

Sport would be worth it even if it does have the 3-spoke wheel. You get a better suspension, bigger side bolsters on the sport seats, better rims etc.

Thanks i thought about that, but honestly I want it a bit softer so I am not sure I want the sport suspension anyway.

The 2 BMWs are already pretty stiffly sprung, and while they are a ton of fun, I wanted something softer for city streets and the winter.
