In my case some muppet had put on the wrong front rotors. They are just a hair smaller than the correct rotors but the pads were actually off the outside surface. Make sure your pads are contacting well within the rotor surface.

 

I bought the car used and that could absolutely be possible. I will check the brake pads tomorrow and see what they look like. They might be hanging off the rotor a little and making it shake when I brake. More I type this the more confident I am that this is possibly my issue. I thought that I had a sticky piston or something on the caliper. I had them all in my hands tonight and they worked well. Thanks for the replies. Will let you know what I find out.
