Default Strong Fuel Smell Driver Side Engine Compartment - 03 A6 2.7TT

Hello,
I've recently noticed there is a very strong raw fuel smell coming from the **upper passenger** corner of the engine compartment. I haven't started looking into it as it is dark, but am wondering what to expect under those covers. Do any main fuel lines run through that area? Any fuel componets poisition in that area?

Or, does anyone know where I can fine a fuel diagram?

Thanks for the help.

**Sorry, was meaning to saw passenger in the title

Is the smell coming from the "driver side" as in the title, or from the passenger side as mentioned in the text?

According to VagCat, on your year model (ARE, BES engines) the fuel pressure regulator is on the driver side. Probably you should check all the injectors (the rubber o-rings may fail after a while) and both fuel rail connections points: feed and return lines.

***Nevermind the question: I read the modification in the post afterward.
Are you living in the US, or across the pond? In the enclosed pic, is the right side the passenger, or the driver side?
