does any of you knows how to input the radio code on my A6, my radio is the symphony two with casette and a cd changer on the trunk.
I requested the code from the dealer and I have it but my mechanic disconected the battery and the safe mode in in the radio.

please tell me which buttoms I have to push to be able to input the code.

Turn ignition to on, not starting the car. You will see the word SAFE. Press both the RDS and FM2 buttons at the same time until you see a four digit number appear. Using the 1,2,3, and 4 buttons enter your code. 1 will change the first number, 2 the second and so on. Once you have the correctcode entered, press the RDS and FM2 buttons again, holding them until the radio comes on which should only take a few seconds.

HOLD P.SCAN AND RBDS BUTTONS IN SIMULTANEOUSLY TILL (1000) APPEARS
THEN USE 1THRU 4 PRESET BUTTONS TO ENTER 4-DIGIT SECURITY CODE. 1 BEING THE FIRST NUMBER IN SECURITY CODE.
WHEN ENTERED. THEN HOLD IN P.SCAN AND RBDS BUTTONS AGAIN TILL SAFE APPEARS THEN IT SHOULD BE UNLOCKED

 

Hi, how did you receive your code from the dealer? I asked them, they said they need to remove the radio,
looking serial number from the back and contact with Audi for the code.
I dont't understand why win number not enough for them. I need to replace my battery, I talked with my
mechanic, we need to replace the battery under power, from a charger to the cigar lighter.
