Timing belt broke! :(

You *may* have gotten lucky and not lunched any valves. As was said before, the fact that it wasn't running doesn't matter, as the starter has more than enough torque to bend valves up nicely. On startup is one of the more likely times that a belt will snap, as it's under a bunch of strain getting both camshafts and the pump spun up to speed while everything is cold.
Pull the heads and have a look. If you got lucky, you just have to do the timing belt (and everything else in there, too! Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, and the tensioner itself if you're so inclined). Just doing the belt is still asking for trouble later on down the road.

wow looks to me i got lucky not only did my timing belt NOT break it was just the camshaft sensor. which made it seem like it was exactly the timing belt but wasnt..thank god. but im changing my timing belt anyways for precautions

Looks like a better kit than the ecstuning and for less money. They even have a tool rental kit for $35 with $325 deposit.
