Timing Belt: Link to Dayco chart for which Audi engines are interference
I have a 2001 A6 4.2 and this link by Dayco shows the 00-01 4.2 engines are non-interference but the 02-04 are.

Does anyone have any different info?

1. 05 is a chain and there is no interval to change it just to change the oil and filter regularly.
2. 01 is a non interference and Audi recommend a change or a check at 74k
