Tire issue

I have an 20001 Audi A6 2.7t, right now I got tires of 215/55/16. I was wondering if it is possible to put on those rims 225/55/16. If anybody knows please let me know. I got the idea when I wen to Germany and saw a guys Audi A6 with that set up.
