I have a 127k 01 A6 2.8 Quattro w/ the Tiptronic trans. It runs great and shifts smoothly, but after driving for a few minutes the transmission makes a buzzing sound when accelerating. The noise usually stops immediately when it shifts gears, but returns after ive been in the same gear for a while. It doesnt matter what gear im in, it happens to all of them. Ive got VAG COM and it doesnt pull any fault codes for the trans, or any other module (well there is a memory error for the radio). Ive checked all around, and didnt see any ATF leaks. It doesnt seem to be affecting the cars performance, but I dont want this to be a problem that will blow up on me. I know its a bit of a vague description, but any thoughts?
