Hi All

I have a 2005 A6 3.2 with 77K miles.

About a week ago I went to start the car. I turned the key, and the starter motor cranked, but the engine would not start. There was no combustion or rough start, just the starter motor running. I took the key out, tried again, same problems. After 3-4 more tries, it started right up, no check engine light or other error lights.

Car ran fine for a week, then yesterday same problem, and again after a few start up attempts, it started right up.

Any idea what could be the problem?
