Valve cover gaskets keep leaking
i changed my valve cover gaskets twice now on my 00 a6 avant and they keep leaking. i thought it might have to do with some pressure building up in the crankcase that cant be vented properly and changed this awfully brittle vent tubing also. for a while i had an error code for "EVAP flow insufficient". any connection? Also, i noticed that in the summer it semmed as if the engine was knocking at times. any connection???
any input is appreciated!

Do a search on www.audiworld.com. There are a lot of posts on changing the camchain tensioner gaskets without having to take the chain out. There is a special tool you need to buy to do it. It's called a 3366 tool.
I changed my valve cover gaskets out 2 weeks ago along with the suction pump and breather hose and I still have an oil leak. I'm going to go back in and change the tensioner seals this time and see if that fixes my problem.
