I have an 2008 Audi A6 3.2. I have the MMI and the Voice Navigation button on my steering wheel but I was told by my dealership that the voice-control is not equipped on my model. My question is that do I have the option to purchase that option since the button seems to be there already? I would appreciate your help. Thank you.

 

With a VAG-COM you can turn the voice recognition on that comes with every car. By not buying the option theonly thing you will be lacking are the voice tags.

VAG-COM is a computer plug and software that allows you to reprogram and/or activate various silent goodies. Also allows you to read engine codes.

 

Looks pretty expensive... The usb cord alone is like $250. I will have to look into it. Thanks again for all your help.
