Not the lower hose from the radiator, but the smaller one that cuts all the way back to the expansion tank... Diagram calls it the 'lower coolant line'.

Idk its a really small leak. very thin then drips and if i drive the car alittle it will continue if had stopped. It drips somewhere and drops from the oil reservoir, where the oil is drained. Ill post a picture.

in the b5 s4 it goes
thermostat housing >> o-ring >> thermostat >> engine

I'm guess it would be the same design

Per the Society of Automotive Engineers, the right side of the car is where the passenger sits in the US and China. The left is where the driver sits. A leak on the passenger side could be your lower radiator hose not all the way on, but these tend to be big leaks, not little ones. It could be a transfer hose that sits there. Or, it could be your t-stat housing leaking and the water is running down the lower radiator hose pipe. A good way to narrow down the source is spray foot powder. Dry everything you can reach then spray it with foor powder. The water will be highly noticeable as it disolves the foot powder. Then, trace the water to its source.

Good luck. These can be difficult to find.

Bob
