Default What performance part 1st?

I got my A6 about a month ago and want some more power but on a tight budget! Anybody know what I can put on to give me some more power? I've seen the ECU chips, new exhaust, but don't know what else. I have the 2.7T. Thanks!!!

Diverter valves and then chip. Biggest bang for the buck mod, without a doubt.

Significant performance increase (250 to 318 hp) from a chip. Plan on replacing the diverter valve and throttle body boot at the same time with heavier duty parts to avoid problems caused by higher boost. Count on around $1000 for parts and labor. Sounds like a lot, but nothing but nothing will get you 30% more hp for this price.

2nd that get Dv's

don't get suckered by the expencive Dv's get a set of 710n Dv's they are the best for the money people are making over 450whp with them so don't be foolish and waste your money.

I always tell people about Dp's they are the next best things to save your turbo.
at 400$ there is no reason not to get them. also when you get a chip get one of the new versions where you can adjust your boost so you can turn down the boost if you wish.

look to vastperformance for both

I have a question about the diverter valves. In this like https://www.audiforums.com/m_531160/tm.htm,

I tooka quotefrom the link above, the dude said"WhenI turned my dv around backwards it held 2x as much boost.I ran it on my t3t4 for a long time pusing 25psi" Is that true?
