Okay, I have a 98 2.8L Quattro and I'm needing to change out my brake rotors and pads. However I'm not sure which size to buy. Do I buy the 288mm, 312mm, or 321mm rotors. How does one tell?
I can tell you that I have 16" rims if that helps.

312 for front, and 245 for rear. This the company spec.

 

Early C5 (1998 was first year) with the 2.8 is most likely 288mm x 25 mm. If you're not sure, remove a front wheel and measure the diameter.
288mm = 11.3"
312mm = 12.3"
321mm = 12.6"

Daroshi, you are correct sir. I just called my dealer to make sure and based on my VIN number the parts guy said i have the 288mm front rotors.
