For $250...wow!! My dealer wants close to 2k....choke/cough/gasp....[&:] If you can trust his work, by all means, more power to you. I need to find that deal here in Seattle.

 

Well let me be a bit more specific. It's $250 plus parts so it actually comes out to $480.00. That is still a hell of a lot cheaper than the dealer wants. Dealer = Stealer.

 

That is FAR AND AWAY the lowest price I've heard for a timing belt change. If this guy does good work, that's a steal. Good independents are usually getting $12-1500 for this.

Sorry I'm not in MA. I'm located in Oklahoma City, OK. My mechanic actually charges 100 or 200 bucks more for other Audi timing belt changes but because I go to him often and I've been sending him customers he cuts me a break on every job he does for me.
