where is diagnostic plug??

where is diagnostic plug??

i have a '95 a6, i tried to use a scanner to find out why my check engine like came on but i couldnt find where to plug it in at. Any one else know???

It's under the little cover in the center console. Next to the e-brake handle. In front of the cup holder.

Alternative is a white 2 pin connector in the black box with relays under the hood.

95 96 97 A6 VAG COM connector is in the center console.
