My '99 A6 needs a torque converter and I would like to find out where to get a good re-manufactured converter. The tranny is out of the car and I am just waiting to get the converter. Any help would be appreciated.

 

If you PM me w/your VIN, I'll decode it and find your trans code & torque conv part#...then you can allow Google to be your friend.

Thanks for your reply, but I already know that I have a ZF 5HP19 transmission. It is probably the same transmission that you have in yours. I have found a place to rebuild my TC in NJ called Trans Specialties. I can also get rebuild kits so I think that I will get my tranny rebuilt while it is out of the car.
