Default Will the car ECU system damage if I disconnect battery?

Hi,
Somewhere else in the forum, I am asking whether the 2001 audi a6 car battery is bad or there is a leak.
So, I decided to remove the negative cable, so that if there is a leak, the battery should be able to run the car next time,
My battery drains, if not used for 3 days in a row.

So,
my question is:

If i disconnect - negative terminal, will the ECU forget everything? like power windows alarm etc? Is it hazardous to the car? I will reconnect it the next time, I need it. I only need my car on weekends.

I know radio memory seats will be deleted, I don't care about that, I was just wondering, is it a good way to prevent the battery to run out, when the car is not being used.

Thanks in advance.

You should be ok, but an electrical leak will get old in a hurry. what if you forget to disconnect it one time and cant get it started when you need it?
