So you got screwed by the screw that was not screwed in correctly thus the loose screw screwed thescene never to be seen or screwed with again --you hope.

If you didnt find it after you pulled the lower cover and you are 100% sure it didnt hit the floor and roll away try this. In a quiet area start slowly and methodically hitting everything in the engine bay with the side of your fist listening for a rattle. These things can fall into cross members and get wedged where body pieces come together. Do not start the car untill you find it. I ruined a cylinder head years ago in just such a situation. Be patient!

Uh yeah, I'm not sure if the posts are showing a wrong day on em for my computer only, but I'm pretty sure its not. So just fyi bud you're only about 6 months too late with that advice. Don't worry though its the thought that counts.
