Last March I had a problem with my A8 starting. It was the first really cold weather that we had. After turning the key, the engine would turn over and immediately die.

After three weeks at the dealership they replaced the ABS system for thousands of dollars. The car was fine all summer. The first frost day this fall, same thing. When it warmed up, the car started. Next week, frost - engine turned over and immediately died. We had it towed to the dealer who said it was a bad ABS part and replaced it under warranty. Got the car home. Next morning it died.

Towed back to Audi. They said "well, maybe it is the keys" - new keys. Brought the car home last night. Unfortunately, the whole week they had the car the temperature never went under 50. This morning frost on the car - put the key in, the engine turns over, dies.

Any ideas??????

of course yours doesn't have some of those sensors like the VAF or MAP yous has a MAF sensor
