Hi guys,

OK, so I have an A8 w/ 55k miles. I have had the car for less than 5k miles and I started noticing something. I am not sure if it is normal or not.

When I lock the car after getting out I hear a hissing noise for about 5 seconds and the front end lowers a little bit. It seems very controlled and stops with a click noise. Is this normal?

If I get out of the car and don't lock it, this does not happen. It only happens when I lock the car.

Hi Jimbo-

The car initiates and auto leveling when you lock it.

Nothing to worry about as long as the compressor doesn't keep running.
