Angry 2013 Audi A8 turbos damaging engine

I own 2013 Audi A8L 4.0. More than a month ago the car stalled. I took it to my Audi mechanic as he is close to my work and two days later he told me the two turbos broke down. We bout a set of new turbos and they went bad right a way. He told me then something is wrong with the engine breaking the turbos. It turned out when the turbos blown sent small metal pieces in the engine and that burns all other turbos. My car has 100000 km and it is out of warranty. I called Audi Canada and they instructed me to take it to Audi dealer to have it checked. Audi dealer told me you need new engine and new turbos. Audi Canada refused to fix anything because I took it to a private mechanic in the first place and I am not the first owner of this car. Is this fair treatment. For any Audi owner who went through this before please give me feedback and we might get together to have them stand by their product.

Your mechanic sounds defficient for not checking the state of the old ones.

Default Opened oil pan

My mechanic opened the oil pan and found many broken pieces metal and rubber inside the engine filling the oil pan even inside the oil pump . After cleaning everything he added a screen to protect the turbos. Ordered new two turbos today. I hope after cleaning everything the car runs back again like before. Interesting how broken turbos can affect the engine and this bad way. Such a distance Fine Design from OD and they should cover this as it's a design fault .

Default Audi A8 Turbo

Wameed,
Curious what you paid for the Turbo fixes? I was quoted $6,000 on a vehicle I almost purchased. Luckily did not take possession of the vehicle from the dealer yet and while they were driving the Turbos went. Just trying to see if I need to stay clear of Audi.
Thanks,

I am in the process of purchasing a one owner 2013 Audi A8 4.0T with 81K miles. Its got impeccable service record from an Audi Dealer, Just traded in, Looks clean and drives well. I am taking it to a different Audi Dealer for a comprehensive inspection of the turbos and other components to make sure all is good before signing on the dotted line. Has anyone else owned one of these who have taken care of it as this one has and NOT had a turbo or pcv system problem. you always hear about the horror stories but never the good ones. I am also looking into an extended warranty program which will cover these items so if and when they occur I won't be shelling out tons of cash while still making a car payment. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
