Default Clicking rear blind

Hi everyone,

I've just bought my first A8 - a UK 1995 4.2 Quattro Sport and am deeply impressed by it.
Just slowly working my way through the issues left by the previous owner - leaky fuel tank (fixed), bad left top arms (fixed), leaky exhaust (to do) and a clicking rear blind (the reason for this post).

What I need is to know how the rear blind works. Is there a cutoff switch at the bottom of its movement? Whats happening is that the blind goes up quite happily but when I lower it it gets all the way down and just clicks for about 10 secondes before shutting off. I'm guessing there is a limit switch in there someplace which isn't working but have yet to find it or figure out how to get it apart. Any one have any knowledge of these things?

Thanks

Alastair.
