When does it reset? During cranking or overnight?
If it happens when the engine is running, it can't be the battery as the generator will be taking care of that.

Default code did not work

I tried the code you sent, but it does not work. I'm getting: Coding rejected, error 0E: Unknown (0x0E)

Unless I am doing something wrong it looks like it is not accepting any codes.

Default just to make sure I do this correct

here are the steps that I performed: (I am on version 11.11.5, module 61)
- open module 61, select 07 Coding
- The energie manager is shown on option 0, select option 1, which is the battery
- Click the battery coding button
- fill in part number, serial number and select the correct battery, click ok.
- back to window and click do it. I get the error Coding rejected etc.

If I then click on the coding button again, I get an additional error:

vscderror
Cant spawn

0010,0,General
001,1,Generator Voltage,(specified)
001,2,Battery Voltage,(actual)

001,4,Load,Response Time,Display Range: 0....9 sec
;
002,0,Battery Temperatur4E0915181C VA0000000204

And an OK button

Almost looks like the Audi system will not accept any coding

even though you have a new battery and i would like to think you cleaned the terminals at the battery, check the other ends of the cables and all grounds

new batteries can be defective also
