Front brakes

Front brakes
I've got about 67k on my 2001. It's time for front brakes as they're getting thin and the warning light is on. I'll replace the rotors as well since there's a wobble there. I'd like to use good drilled and slotted ones. Are there any specific recommendations for replacement parts? I may do the work myself so are there any surprises in store? Thanks!

RE: Front brakes
Front barkes & rotors are pretty easy. Don't forget to check your rears, too. Thay may not NEED replacing, at this moment, but, it's always a good idea to eyeball them whenever you do brakes. It will help you get an idea of how fast they're wearing.
I've got a good link to a buncha very informative brake guys, but it's at home and I'm at work, at the moment. I'll post it up later, when I get home & settle in for a long night of pr0n-surf... I mean time on teh forums
My mechanic actually finally convinced me to abandon my D&S'd rotors in favor of just drilled. I remain convinced. Slotted have more parcticality on the track, so, unless you're going to track your car its advantaged are negligible in everyday driving.
The link I have is for a website that has a # where you can call in and talk to someone about your specific needs and get advice based o n that...

There's a number, at the top of the page. Give them a call. They gave me straight advice, in the past (even tho I ignored it, it turned out to be right).
