Default help needed - unbolting gearbox

Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me with a problem I have...

I have removed the v8 and quattro box from my 96 A8 and unbolted all the bellhousing bolts but the gearbox wont come off. Is there some trick to it or is it just stuck and needs a good handfull of leverage applied to it?

Tips much appreciated

Have you removed the starter & unbolted the TC from the drive plate?

Should be 3 bolts...turn engine 1/3 rev at crank pulley (T-belt installed!) to access each through starter 'hole'.

Even with ALL the fasteners off, they sometimes are still stuck from corrosion to the alignment pins (steel pins into aluminum housing).
