Default Oil Drain plug location??

Can anyone tell me where the oil drain plug is? I've taken off the plastic cover and the drain plug that I am guessing at is totally inaccessible without removing a massive metal sub structure. Am I out to lunch?

Thanks

I found it! Duh! I'm used to other makes, with small hex head bolts. This was too obvious, and strange looking!

I changed the oil on my 2004 a few months ago and was given a second crush ring to use, in addition to the one in the package. Neither ring fit anything. I just used the old one again, with no apparent problems.

Default Crush ring

I did not use it either. At first, since it came with the cartridge filter, I thought it should be for use inside the block with the cartridge, but could not find anywhere it would go. Definitelly did not fit the drain plug in the oil pan. So, I just used the old one for that. My only thought is that it may be for the drain where the filter cartridge goes, but I couldn't find that.

Didn't fit that either. My drain on the oil filter housing was stripped and I had to install a threaded insert that allowed me to use the old plug, but neither crush washer fit that. I misplaced the old one so ended up with a copper one - probably not ideal, but all I could find in the area.
